Heavy-weights on projects. Me and Block go back he overseeing the project. I've known Melo for a while. It all came full circle. Everything was right, timing was right. I've known Melo for 6 or 7 years. and he was doing his NBA thing and he let me know when the time was right we would make something happen.

SMAG: How long have you been rapping?

I have been rapping for about 8 years now. I been hitting the streets and garnering a buzz.  I have professionally been rapping, like doing paid shows and such for about 5 years now. Its been a crazy road.

SMAG: The hardest part of being a rapper to you?

It has to be the marketing and promotions aspect of the game. You can be the nicest nigga spitting rhymes but if nobody knows about you or heard of you. It’s not going to take you anywhere.

SMAG: Where you from in East Atlanta?

Im from East Atlanta. Where are we on the collabos with the rest of East Atlanta.  Im in the streets I've done features with Bun B. Gorilla Zoe, Rick Ross, Cassidy, Jadakiss, Styles P,and Raheem Devaughn.. Im dropping the mixtape on June 30th. called “Fly Paper” Its co hosted by Cassidy. Pimpin Ken is even on there talking. SMAG: What sets you apart from the other rappers? What makes you the best at what you do?

I would never claim Im the best, I want the people to decide that.  Im from NY originally. I've been in Atlanta for about half my life. My style, my swag, and the way I rap is different from your average NY rapper or down south rapper because I’m exposed to both North and South for an equal amount of time.  My shit is different from somebody who might have been in ATL their whole life or even NY they whole life.  When I rap I don’t sound out of place on a NY beat or a down south beat. I’m so diverse that I don’t have that problem.

SMAG: Anybody in the rap game you want to work with?

I like to be hands on. If I put somebody on my album I really fuck with them. Like I know them on a personal level. As far as my album, I don’t want to say this or that rapper sent me a verse. I don’t like shit like that. In today’s rap a rapper might get a A list feature and never have even meet him or talked to him. I don’t do that If you hear a nigga on my song then that’s a nigga I fuck with for real.

SMAG: How did the whole Carmelo Anthony deal come about? Does he have ambitions to rap?

Naw not at all. What happened was Me and Carmelo been cool so one day he heard the music and he has been a fan and supporter ever since. One day another guy he knew told him about this artist that he was working with and how he wanted to go in on a label.  Melo was like yea that’s cool cause I got a dude that’s tight too. So he called me up, flew me out to Denver we all sat there and chopped it up. As time progressed, Melo and I just went at it alone.

SMAG: A lot of people get shot and don’t really learn from it? What did you learn from that situation?

When your younger you do shit, you don’t really think about the consequences. Niggas get locked up and shot up all the time but my situation gave me time to figure out exactly what I needed to do. That situation was a blessing too, because after that I moved back up to for a year and a half and me and Melo became cool. I got my shit together started focusing on this music and know we having this conversation right now. Everything happens for a reason.

SMAG: What does Diego Cash get fresh in?

Me I’m all day with hard denim levis.

SMAG/ Money $Ron: I fux with the Levi’s too. You can catch me in some levi’s, a graphic tee and some crazy kicks and im ready to go.

Most definitiely! Like the other day me and Melo was in LA like two weeks ago. I copped the TK Supra’s  in two colors and I got some patent leather Chucks.  On a daily tho  iM in some levis,  some tight shoes, and a calvin klein v neck. Nothing too flashy.
