SMAG INTRODUCES - SPOTLIGHT ARTIST

Scoopthemagazine.com correspondent Rocky finds out what's so Amazin' with Trina.

The scene of a beloved superstar:

Cameras flashing, fans stampeding and media reps going crazy for Miami's finest in rap artist Trina as she elegantly enters the Room Service Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia during the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards weekend. Delicately dressed in a red blouse and black leggings perfectly fitting to her curvacious frame, Trina has a one-on-one with SMAG discussing her new project entitled Amazin' and even showcases her talent as a label-head with her new rap group Pretty Money.

Amazin' will be the fifth studio album from The Diamond Princess and is set to drop March 30th of next year. Collaborations include some of music's top artists including Keri Hilson, Ludacris, Lyfe Jennings, Rick Ross and newly signed label mates in R&B group Jagged Edge.

Joints to check for include the newly released street single That's My Attitude and the album's official single entitled Let Them Hoes Fight, which features pop music sensation Lady Gaga. The single is set to be released this December.

Trina also has her hands in the executive tool box building the new rap duo Pretty Money. Members Nisha and An-G are out to set the game ablaze being some of the few female rappers in the biz today, not to mention female rap groups.

Miss Trina has definitely been on her grind and with the emergence of her fifth solo album, numerous song features, apperances and artists discoveries, she continues to shine like a true Diamond Princess should.

Proving that she is, in more ways than one, Amazin'.
