French sportswear brand Lacoste has reissued a limited number of sunglasses originally produced in the 1980s. You’ll note that the 101 aviator frames’ design has been retained throughout the years, surely a sign of a true classic which remains as popular as ever today. Each box contains a certificate card which notes the serial number of the frames. The sunglasses are limited to 1000 pairs and available now from stores including Colette and Dover Street Market. The sunglasses follow a late 70s Italian design aesthetic with a continuous one line shape. Five different colorways are set to drop, all featuring world renowned Carl Zeiss lenses. I am definitely feeling these shades they remind me of the wayfarers with a clearly different shape |
